Ultrasonic teeth cleaning is a painful procedure that should only be performed by a veterinary surgeon or dentist in a clinic under sedation and anesthesia. Yes, you can be present during grooming with the groomer’s permission, especially if your pet is aggressive, ill, unable to stand, or over 12 years old.
